And what is so rare as a day in June? Then, if ever, come perfect days.

Photo: Anne Nygard. Meaning 🌼 :
‘A beautiful June day is something exceptionally special’
– June symbolizes:
– pleasant weather ☀️
– blossoming and vitality 🌿
– harmony and happiness 😊
– The sentence therefore expresses a sense of ‘almost perfect beauty in nature’
In other words:
> ‘some days feel so beautiful and balanced that they seem almost perfect.’
📚 Origin:
This saying is ‘not an old folk saying’, but a ‘literary quote’ from English poetry.
 ✍️ Author:
James Russell Lowell (1819–1891) 🇺🇸
– American poet, essayist, and diplomat
📝 Where exactly does it come from?
The lines come from the poem:
– “The Vision of Sir Launfal”
– published in 1848
More precisely, from the ‘introductory part’ (“Prelude”) of that poem.
🎭 Context of the saying:
Lowell uses these lines to describe the beauty of early summer.
In the poem, the month “June” stands for:
– fullness of nature 🌸
– light and warmth ☀️
– a rare moment of perfection 🌈
As a result, the phrase later became famous and is often used as a ‘saying or quote’.
