Robert Nesta (Bob) Marley:
(Nine Miles, 6 February 1945 – Miami, 11 May 1981).
Jamaican reggae artist. He is nicknamed The King of Reggae. He was one of the main people responsible for the breakthrough of reggae outside Jamaica and was also considered an important champion of the rasta faith.
Marley had reggae hits all over the world during the 1970s, such as No Woman, No Cry and I Shot the Sheriff. He released reggae albums like Exodus and Uprising. Together with his wife Rita Marley, he is a symbol of the Rastafari movement.
