Edward Sanders:
(born August 17, 1939).
American poet, singer, activist, author, publisher and longtime member of the rock band the Fugs. He has been called a bridge between the Beat and hippie generations. Sanders is considered to have been active and “present at the counterculture’s creation.”

Far up in the deep blue sky, great white clouds are floating by. All the world is dressed in green, many happy birds are seen, roses bright, and sunshine clearly shows that lovely June is here.

– The quote describes ’the coming of June’ as a beautiful, cheerful summer month. ☀️
– Images such as ‘deep blue sky, white clouds, greenery, birds, roses and sunshine’ indicate:
– blooming nature
– liveliness
– joy
– summer beauty
Origin:
– It is ‘not a traditional saying or proverb’, but a ‘short seasonal verse/poem’. 📖
Author:
– The verse is attributed to Edward Sanders on ‘QuoteAmbition’. ✍️
– However, that attribution is ‘not certainly proven’, because ‘no primary source’ has yet been mentioned, such as:
– a bundle
– a book
– a magazine publication
– a scan of the original edition
– Therefore, the safest formulation is:
– ‘attributed to Edward Sanders’
– but ‘not bibliographically confirmed’.
