Andrei Arsenyevich Tarkovsky:
( Zavrazhye, Ivanovo Oblast, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union, 4 April 1932 – Paris, France, 29 December 1986)
Soviet film director and screenwriter of Russian origin. He has been widely considered one of the best directors in cinema history. His films explore spiritual and metaphysical themes and are known for their slow pacing and long takes, dreamlike visual imagery and preoccupation with nature and memory.
I have always liked people who can’t adapt themselves to life pragmatically.
