Belgian writer of poetry, novels, novellas, pornography, italics (Boontjes), art and literary reviews, among others. He was also a painter. He is best known for the novel diptych De Kapellekensbaan (1953) / Zomer te Ter-Muren (1956) and for Menuet (short novel, 1955).
