Erich Kästner:
(Dresden, 23 February 1899 – Munich, 29 July 1974).
German writer, poet and comedian, best known for children’s books such as Emil und die Detektive and Die verschwundene Miniatur. His book Das doppelte Lottchen was filmed several times, including in the 1961 film The Parent Trap.
