A year ago, you did not know today. You did not know how you’d make it here. But you made it here. By grace, you made it here.

Image: Jacqueline Munguia.  Meaning 💖:  At the heart of this statement is hope, resilience, and gratitude. It reminds us that we are often stronger than we think and that we can overcome obstacles we didn’t know how to overcome. “A year ago, you didn’t know today.” This emphasizes the unpredictability of life. A year ago, we had no idea what challenges, joys, or changes would come our way. “You didn’t know how you would make it this far.” This acknowledges the struggle and uncertainty many of us experience. There were moments of doubt, fear, or despair, when the path forward was unclear. “But you made it.” This is a powerful affirmation of survival and success. Despite everything that has happened, you are here today. “By grace, you got here.” This last part adds a dimension of gratitude and humility. “Grace” can be interpreted in several ways: Spiritual/Religious: Divine favor, unmerited help, or blessing. General: Good fortune, unexpected help from others, inner strength, the ability to endure adversity, or simply the flow of life that has carried you forward. It suggests that you have arrived here not only through your own efforts, but also through some form of favor or stroke of luck. In short, it is a message of comfort and recognition for anyone who has gone through a difficult time and emerged stronger. 🌟 Origin and Author: Morgan Harper Nichols.
