Roald Dahl:
(Llandaff, South Wales, 13 September 1916 – Oxford, 23 November 1990) was a British writer.
He wrote books for both children and adults. His writing style was unusual: stories for adults were often bizarre and those for children funny, strange, unpredictable, creepy and occasionally slightly sadistic. His children’s books were illustrated by Quentin Blake. They were awarded several times in the Netherlands by both the Griffeljury and the Kinderjury. His stories for adults were generally short and often showed a surprising twist at the end. The books Boy and Solo are autobiographical.

A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.
