Colin Luther Powell:
(New York, 5 April 1937 – Bethesda (Maryland), 18 October 2021).
US military officer who was the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1989 to 1993 under Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton. Earlier, he was national security adviser under President Ronald Reagan from 1987 to 1989. From 2001 to 2005, he was Secretary of State as a Republican under President George W. Bush. He was the first African-American to hold the position.

There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work and learning from failures.
