Wayne William Snellgrove:
Native American educator, artist, writer and speaker. He was born into the Saulteaux tribe of Fishing Lake First Nation in Saskatchewan, Canada. Snellgrove was taken from his mother and placed in foster care as part of the ’60s Scoop, a policy that separated Indigenous children from their families and cultures.
