Juan Ramón Jiménez Mantecón:
(Moguer (Spain) December 24, 1881 – San Juan (Puerto Rico), May 29, 1958). Spanish poet and Nobel laureate. One of his most important contributions to modern poetry was the concept of “poesia pura,” or pure poetry. Jiménez received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1956.
