Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart:
(Salzburg, 27 January 1756 – Vienna, 5 December 1791).
Baptised Joannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart, was a composer, pianist, violinist and conductor from the princely diocese of Salzburg.
He excelled in every current musical form of his time, especially opera, the symphony, the piano concerto and chamber music. The music he composed as an adult, rooted in Austrian and southern German traditions but coloured by Italian opera, is characterised by its melodic beauty, formal perfection and richness of harmony and texture. Along with Johann Sebastian Bach and Ludwig van Beethoven, he is considered a composer who invented new musical concepts within a tradition and exerted profound influence on all composers who came after him. Mozart’s work is counted among the music of the classical period. With Joseph Haydn and Ludwig van Beethoven, he forms, musically speaking, the First Viennese School.
Mozart was a child prodigy, playing the violin, harpsichord and organ at an exceptionally young age and composing high-quality works. He was a versatile composer. He wrote vocal music in the genres of opera, Singspiel and mass. He also composed instrumental orchestral music, such as symphonies, serenades and divertimenti, and solo concertos, mainly for piano and orchestra. He also composed solo music, such as piano sonatas and chamber music, including sonatas for various instrumental settings.

The music is not in the notes, but in the silence between.
