Robert C. Christie Hunter:

American lyricist, singer-songwriter, translator and poet, best known for his work with the Grateful Dead.
He joined the Grateful Dead in autumn 1967, arriving at a rehearsal just in time to write the first verse of their classic “Dark Star”
Hunter wrote lyrics for many of their most famous songs but never performed himself.
