Charles Bukowski

Henry Charles Bukowski:

(Andernach (Germany), 16 August 1920 – San Pedro (California, USA, 9 March 1994).
American writer and poet. The urban landscape and atmosphere of his hometown of Los Angeles had a profound influence on his work. In turn, he influenced some of his contemporaries and his style was often imitated. He was a prolific writer, his oeuvre spanning thousands of poems, hundreds of short stories and six novels.
