John Cleese

John Marwood Cleese:

(Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, 27 October 1939).
British actor, screenwriter, comedian and filmmaker.
Cleese was born in the village of Uphill, south of Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, the only child of Muriel Cross (1899-2000) and insurance agent Reginald Francis Cleese (1893-1972). The family name was initially ‘Cheese’, but his father changed it to ‘Cleese’ in 1915 because he was bullied with it.”

Technology frightens me to death. It’s designed by engineers to impress other engineers. And they always come with instruction booklets that are written by engineers for other engineers — which is why almost no technology ever works.
