Marie Curie

Maria Salomea (Marie) Skłodowska-Curie:

(Warsaw, 7 November 1867 – Passy, 4 July 1934).
Polish-French chemist and physicist. She was a pioneer in the field of radioactivity, receiving two Nobel prizes and discovering the elements polonium and radium. Known in her second homeland France as Marie Curie, she is often referred to as Madame Curie, which is also the title of her biography written by her daughter Ève.
