Joseph Conrad:
(3 December 1857 – Bishopsbourne, 3 August 1924).
Polish-English novelist and prose writer. He was born Józef Teodor Konrad Korzeniowski in Berdychiv, the Russian Empire (now Ukraine). His novels mostly deal with dangerous life at sea and exotic places. Conrad is considered one of the greatest novelists in English-language literature.
The belief in a supernatural source of evil is not necessary; men alone are quite capable of every wickedness.
