Johann Gottlieb Fichte:
(Rammenau near Bischofswerda, 19 May 1762 – Berlin, 29 January 1814)
German philosopher and orator. Fichte was inspired by Immanuel Kant and is considered the founder and first great representative of German idealism. His work falls between the criticism of Kant and the spirit of Hegel. His son Immanuel became a theologian and later also enjoyed some fame as a philosopher.
