Roger van de Velde:
(Boom 13 February 1925 – Antwerp 30 May 1970)
Flemish writer. He was the son of Jan Frans van de Velde, wine merchant, and Maria Callaert. He married Rosa Verboven in 1947.
He was a journalist for the Nieuwe Gazet and also published in the youth magazines Arsenaal and Nieuw Gewas.
Love is dreaming of what one does not yet have and what one only dreamily suspects.
