Arnon Yasha Yves Grünberg:

Dutch literary writer of mainly novels, stories, essays, reportages and columns.
Grunberg became known with his 1994 debut novel Blue Mondays. In the years 2000-2005, he also published under the heteronym Marek van der Jagt. Since 2014, Grunberg has been a member of the Academy of Arts. Among the many prizes awarded to him are the Constantijn Huygens Prize for his entire oeuvre in 2009, the P.C. Hooft Prize for his novels and stories and the Johannes Vermeer Prize, the latter both in 2022. The jury report of the P.C. Hooft Prize called him ‘a writer unequalled in ambition, productivity and intellectual vigour.
