James Madison

James Madison:

(Port Conway (Virginia), 16 March 1751 – Montpelier (Virginia), 28 June 1836).
American statesman and political philosopher. As president, he also owned a large tobacco plantation that worked in slavery. Between 1809 and 1817, he served as the fourth president of the United States. During his presidency, the country again went to war with the United Kingdom.
