Jean de La Bruyère:
(Paris, 16 August 1645 – Versailles, 10 May 1696).
French writer and moralist. He became best known for his work Les Caractères de Théophraste, traduits du grec, avec les caractères ou les mœurs de ce siècle with satirical portraits of his contemporaries.
It seems that it is less rare to pass from antipathy to love than to friendship.
In love, women go much further than men, but men do better in friendship.
We trust our secrets to our friends, but they escape from us in love
The presence of people one loves is enough: dreaming, speaking to them or not; thinking about them or thinking about something indifferent, in their presence it does not matter.
