Andrew Carnegie:
(Dunfermline (Scotland), 25 November 1835 – Lenox (Massachusetts), 11 August 1919).
American steel magnate and philanthropist of Scottish descent. Outside America, he is probably best known for his contribution to Carnegie Hall in New York and the construction of the Peace Palace in The Hague.
