Jenna Danchuk

Jenna Danchuk:

Canadian PhD candidate in the Department of Gender, Feminist, and Women’s Studies at York University. Her research focuses on the intersections between feminist and LGBTQ movement histories and media and sub/cultural studies. Jenna is currently completing a dissertation about the role of New Age spiritualities in lesbian-feminist communities and cultures c. 1976-1987. Her writing has appeared in the Journal of American Periodicals, The Journal of American Culture, FUSE Magazine, WORN Fashion Journal, Spiral Nature, and on the Bitch Media Blog.
