I mean, all my life I had been worrying about other people, worrying about their well-being, but while I was out saving the world, who was out for me? Who was saving me? No one, no one was, and this was the first step into that reality.
That’s the problem, you hold on when you should be letting go and you stand still when you should be moving on.
It’s simple. Don’t start something you know you can’t finish and don’t make promises you can’t keep. Be consistent, mean what you say, and let your actions speak for you. All else will fall into place.
We must understand that sadness is an ocean, and sometimes we drown, while other days we are forced to swim.
