James Douglas (Jim) Morrison:
(Melbourne (Florida), 8 December 1943 – Paris, 3 July 1971).
American singer, poet and lyricist.
He was frontman of the psychedelic rock band The Doors. Morrison is regarded by music critics as one of the most influential figures in rock history, due in part to his poetic lyrics, distinctive voice, unpredictable and erratic performances and the dramatic circumstances surrounding his life. His musical legacy and status as an icon of 1960s American counterculture lived and live on long after his death.

A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself-and especially to feel, or not feel. Whatever you happen to be feeling at any moment is fine with them. That’s what real love amounts to – letting a person be what he really is.
Maybe primitive people have less bullshit to let go of, to give up. A person has to be willing to give up everything—not just wealth. All the bullshit he’s been taught—all society’s brainwashing. You have to let go of all that to get to the other side. Most people aren’t willing to do that.
