French aristocrat, political philosopher and sociologist, historian and statesman. He is considered an important thinker of modern political liberalism.
I hope to see the day when the law guarantees equal civil liberty to all inhabitants of the same empire.
Liberty cannot be established without morality, nor morality without faith.
